UI Framework that allows operators to create custom monitoring views. Design of +30 telescope components for monitoring and control.
OUTCOME
Successful delivery of monitoring/control components for state-of-the-art technology that was still being built. Delivery of a scalable and consistent methodology for component design.
Performance-monitoring for online arbitrations
CLIENT
NIC Chile (Network Information Center of Chile).
PROCESS
User research, information architecture, systems thinking, card sorting, A/B testing, DataVis design, front-end prototyping, booklet design.
SOLUTION
Monitoring dashboard that breaks down every stage of the arbitration process, data visualization for KPIs.
OUTCOME
Time to find KPIs reduced by 95%, performance data for the arbitrators, historical data made available.
Improving decision-making & response time for bus monitoring operators
CLIENT
Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications and the Bus Monitoring Center.
PROCESS
Ethnography, participatory design sessions, situational awareness design, cartography design, interaction design, UI design, front-end prototyping.
SOLUTION
Map supported interface with real time data about alerts and bus statuses. Archive with historical performance data.
OUTCOME
Real-time visualization of the location, speed, and status of 6,700 buses. Became one of the main tools for contingency response for operators.
